Meet Megan Baril
Owner, LMT, Certified Nutrition Coach & Functional Fitness Specialist
Megan Baril is a licensed massage therapist, certified nutrition coach (CNC) and a certified corrective exercise specialist (CES) with NASM and the owner of Revival Massage & Wellness, LLC in Turner, Maine. She graduated from Spa Tech Institute in 2016 located in Westbrook, Maine, where she studied and trained in Therapeutic Massage.
Megan specializes in Women's Health Focused Massage. Providing Swedish Massage, Therapeutic Deep Pressure Massage, Face Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage, Scar Massage (C-section, post-surgical and injury), Cupping Massage, Gua Sha Body Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release Therapy and Integrated Reiki/Crystal Healing.
Other services include Cold Stone Therapy, Synergy Hot Stone Massage and CBD Massage.

She loves customizing sessions to your needs and focusing on areas of pain and discomfort.
Her passion is to help people with chronic pain in a holistic and therapeutic way.
When she's not seeing clients Makayla loves spending time with family, camping and enjoying time with her toddler.

My name is Alyssa, I’m a 32-year-old homeschooling momma & wife who’s born and raised in Maine. I own two businesses, one of which heavily dives into the realm of healing and the other as a professional photographer!

I’m an intuitive psychic medium, reiki master and sound healing practitioner who offers sound healing via crystal singing bowls paired with reiki and 1:1 intuitive wellness coaching.
I started my spiritual, healing journey back in 2018 with a massive motivator being my daughter. I felt very strongly about healing the wounded version of myself before caring for this new, precious, delicate life. A big part of that journey for me has been and continues to be, sound healing. As someone who struggles immensely to, “turn my brain off” I found this was a very easy way for me to do exactly that. I would listen to sound baths on a regular basis to help me relax and get into that meditative state. When I discovered how helpful this practice was, I couldn’t get certified to support my community fast enough!
Sound healing is an amazing tool for not only meditative purposes, but it also has a great impact on improving an individual's mental health, spiritual health, physical health and over all wellbeing. The vibrational frequency’s reach your physical body on a cellular level bringing optimal healing and wellbeing. Think of it like a massage for your deep, deep tissue with a very gentle approach. This makes sounds healing an amazing resource for physical pain that could be from injury or even chronic pain when done consistently. On top of all of this is brings you to an incredible state of relaxation and mental clarity. I hope to see you in the studio soon for your sound healing session!

Massage Policies
Appointment Etiquette

Please be aware that we do not have a receptionist. We book by appointment only and do not take walk-ins.
​
If our door is shut and the sign stating "Massage in Session. Please Do Not Disturb" is on the door, please do not knock or bang on the door as this will interrupt the session, we are currently in.
We have a small seating area outside our office that if you arrive early for your session, you are welcome to wait until your therapist ready to see you. Thank you.

Policies
​
Unanticipated events happen occasionally, and we will do our best to accommodate your situation. To be effective and fair to all clients, however, the following general policies will be enforced:
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call or text (your therapists cell phone number will be in the text and email confirmation/reminder). It is acceptable to cancel your appointment by leaving a voicemail. It is not acceptable to cancel via social media message, as this is an unreliable method.
Three (3) days advance notice is required when canceling/rescheduling an appointment. Reminder emails and texts go out Four (4) days before scheduled appointments. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment in your appointment spot. If you are unable to give 3 days advance notice, you will be charged the "total fee" (100%) for the scheduled appointment. The fee with be taken and charged from the credit card on file. This amount must be paid prior to rescheduling your appointment or if you have an assigned Gift Card the amount will be taken off of the Gift Card.
No Shows:
In the event that you either forget or consciously choose to forgo an appointment (without 3 days advance notice), it will be considered a “no show.” You will be charged the "total fee" (100%) for the missed appointment. The fee with be taken and charged from the credit card on file. This amount must be paid prior to rescheduling your appointment or if you have an assigned Gift Card the amount will be taken off of the Gift Card. No Shows could result in being dismissed as a client.

Repeat Cancellation Policy:
We do understand that unexpected things and events come up and we will do our best to work with you regarding any cancellation regardless of time frame but, we have received numerous repeat cancellations.
​
Repeat Cancellations are cancellations that happen multiple times in a row. Most appointments are booked at least 2-3 months in advance, due to how far out we are booking and for those who wish to be on a regular massage schedule.
~ Two (2) Consecutive Cancellations in a row will results in a 100% prepayment for the next appointment that is to be booked. This is non-refundable if that next appointment is cancelled.
~ Three (3) Consecutive Cancellations in a row will result in a discharge from my practice.
Late Arrivals:
Please understand that if you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending on how late you arrive, the therapist will determine whether or not there is enough time remaining to begin the treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for payment for the full session.

Snow Days:
In the event of a snowstorm, We will be in touch will all clients the day before any predicted snowstorm that will cause for issues in travel that happens to fall on your appointment day. If we decide to call it a snow day, there will be no fee for reschedules or cancellations.
​
Online Booking:
When Booking Online you will be asked for a credit card to reserve your appointment spot. You will not be charged until you are seen. If you no-show or cancel your appointment (3-day advance notice) you will be charged a fee (see above). This will be taken from the card on file that you provided upon booking online or this will need to be paid via an invoice that will be emailed directly to you before you are able to re-book.
Payment Agreement:
All payments are due at time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Gift Cards:
Please use within 1 year from date of purchase.
No Refunds/Returns: All sales are final. Not redeemable for cash.

Inappropriate Behavior:
Please understand that sexual energy or activity of any kind before, during or after the massage session will not be tolerated. Inappropriate behavior of any kind, as determined by the therapist will result in immediate termination of the session, and you will be responsible for payment for the full session. Please be aware that any inappropriate behavior will be documented, and authorities will be notified.

New Clients:
Please Note: We focus on Women's Health and primarily work with Women Clientele. If you are a Male client and are referred by an established client and are interested in being seen, please submit your informational below and who referred you. We currently only accepting male new clients with a referral from an established client or referral from a medical provider/professional.

I'm selective on who I take on as New Clients, as I find its important to develop a good working and trusting relationship. I look at myself as more than just your massage therapist. I'm part of your self-care and wellness team. ~Megan

Please be aware:

- Once an appointment date and time is offered that spot will only be held for 24 hours before being offered to the next client.
​
- A credit card is required to be on your Square account (our booking and card processing platform) in order to reserve an appointment spot. You will not be charged until you are seen (you can choose a different form of payment at time of appointment). You will however be charged for Cancellations or No Shows see Policies for more detailed info. Once an appointment date and time is chosen you will receive an email via Sqaure (Credit Card Auth and Client Agreement Form) this form must be reviewed, completed and submitted back in order to keep the reserved spot. Once the form is submitted back, you will receive a email and text message confirmation of your appointment. In your confirmation message will be your massage therapist's phone number. Please add our number to your phone. We only give out our numbers once you become an established client. Text and phone calls are fine if you have questions about your appointment.

New Client Intake Form: this form must be submitted back prior to your scheduled appointment. Link is provided at the top of our website and in your confirmation email.

If you have a Gift Certificate, please email us to schedule an appointment or book online and add in the notes section that you have a gift certificate (we will confirm on our end).

Established Clients of Megan:
Due to how quickly Megan's schedule can book out, she highly recommends that if you have a certain day, time and are on a regular schedule with you massage appointments, that you book your appointments 3 months in advance. To do so please email Megan at revivalmassagemaine@gmail.com and she will get those appointments booked for you.

Established Male Clientele: Even though I primarily work with women clientele you are still my clients, and I will gratefully continue to provide treatment for you.
